Hello Recruiter,
This is not a typical introduction letter, but I hope you will take a moment to read it with an open mind.
My background includes U.S. Navy avionics training, electromechanical technical work, website development, and decades of hands-on problem solving. I enjoy building systems—whether mechanical, digital, or process-driven—and that reflects how I approach challenges: understand the problem, break it down, and build a practical solution.
Over time, these skills have become even more valuable in today’s digital environment. What differentiates me is not just my technical background, but my ability to combine that experience with modern AI tools to solve real business problems quickly and efficiently.
A recent example comes from my own small pressure washing business. I needed call management and lead-tracking capability, but most CRM platforms came with ongoing monthly costs that did not make sense for a small operation. Instead of accepting that limitation, I designed and built my own solution using AI-assisted development.
I started by defining the core requirements: capturing leads, tracking calls, and managing follow-up activity. I then used AI interactively to accelerate development—generating table structures, data formats, and VBA code for Microsoft Access. I iterated continuously by testing, feeding errors back into AI, refining the code, and applying my own judgment where needed. The result was a functional CRM system developed in a fraction of the time traditional coding would have required.
The value here is not simply that I built software. It is that I used AI as a force multiplier to:
accelerate development
troubleshoot and refine code
improve usability and workflow
deliver a practical, working solution quickly
This reflects the contribution I can bring to an organization: strong technical foundation, business awareness, hands-on execution, and the ability to leverage AI to produce results efficiently.
The type of role I am seeking combines:
workflow analysis and problem solving
AI-assisted development (database, automation, or control systems such as PLC or machine-level logic)
a mix of remote work and hands-on or onsite involvement as needed
In practical terms, I see myself taking a process or requirement, working interactively with stakeholders and AI tools, and rapidly building a usable solution.
I would welcome the opportunity to discuss how this approach could be applied within your organization or for your clients.
Sincerely,
Lee Binder
